Event Recap: October Deluxe Tour & Tasting at Buffalo Distilling Company

Date: October 11, 2025

Host: Mike Foti, Founder and Director of the Bison Bourbon & Spirits Training Company

The October edition of the Deluxe Tour & Tasting at Buffalo Distilling Company was a resounding success. Led by Mike Foti, the experience brought together a lively group of engaged and enthusiastic participants who were eager to explore the world of whiskey in depth.

The session ran 30 minutes beyond its scheduled time, thanks to a flurry of thoughtful questions and spirited discussion. Attendees praised the insights and learning moments that emerged organically throughout the tour, making it one of the most interactive and rewarding events to date.

The events include a brief presentation on Bourbon from grain to bottle in the tasting room, An immersive discussion in the distillery covering the entire process and tasting 8 to 10 spirits including Golden Grain Whisky, Bottle-in-Bond Wheated Bourbon and One-Foot-Cock Straight Bourbon along the way. We complete the events in the Rickhouse with time for Q&A at the end back in the tasting room.

Several guests expressed interest in continuing their whiskey journey by registering for the upcoming Bourbon & Whiskey Workshop on January 17, 2026, and joining the “Don’t Worry, Drink Whiskey” Club, which meets six times per year to celebrate community, education, and great pours.

Looking ahead, the December event promises a hands-on experience where participants will have the opportunity to wax their own bottle of Golden Grain Whiskey—a perfect blend of craftsmanship and holiday spirit.

Stay tuned for more immersive experiences that blend education, storytelling, and sensory exploration. Cheers to another memorable evening at Buffalo Distilling Company! Join us for the next event on November 8, 2025. https://www.buffalodistillingcompany.com/merch/p/deluxe-distillery-tour-and-tasting
